Pies, Cookies, Entrees and More – Enter your Tastiest Peanut Dish

Aubrey Peanut Festival Committee is looking for Aubrey’s Peanutty Chef. We are looking for the tastiest Peanut dish in town. It can be an entrée, a side dish, or a dessert/ bread so be creative! Put on your apron and get your whisk ready to start whipping up your creations.

Contest Rules:
1. Judging will be based on Taste and Flavor (50%), Creativity and Family Appeal (25%), and Ease of Preparation (25%)
2. Contestants may enter more than one recipe, however only one may win.
3. Type or legibly write recipe on 8 ½ x 11 sheet of paper with name, address, daytime and evening phone number, email address if available. Entries must be legible and complete or you will be disqualified.
4. Recipe should be named, with a list of ingredients with measurements. Include detailed preparation instructions and number of servings. Recipes with ten or fewer ingredients are encouraged (Salt, Pepper, and other Seasonings are not counted as ingredients).
5. Each recipe must contain at least ½ cup of peanuts or peanut butter.
6. Upon submission, recipes become the property of Aubrey Peanut Festival Committee, which reserves the right to edit, adapt, copyright, publish and use for publicity promotion or advertising without compensation.
7. Entries must be presented at the Peanut Festival ready to be judged.
8. Decision of the judges is final.

Peanutty Chef Cooking Contest

Day of Contest

1. Entries will be received from 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. at the Chamber Office at 205 South Main St.
2. Judging will begin at 11:00 a.m.
3. Prizes will be awarded at 4:00 p.m. at the Main Stage.
4. Entries may be brought in any type of container (preferably disposable), but it is not the responsibility of the Peanut Festival Committee to return any dishes or plates.

6. Entries must be prepared at home and brought to the Peanut Festival on the day and time of the contest.
